Cate Blanchett - Blanchett Says No To Plastic Surgery

Actress CATE BLANCHETT has vowed never to go under the knife - because she is convinced wrinkles reflect a person's life experiences.

The mother-of-three - who turns 39 next week (14May08) - insists she is proud of her imperfections and would never consider turning to surgery to fix them.

She tells Britain's Glamour magazine, "I see someone's face, someone's body who has had children, and I think they're the song lines of your experience, and why would you want to eradicate that?

"Death is not going to be any easier just because your face can't move."

Before they perfected the electronica-meets-tango sound of the Gotan Project, Paris musicians Philippe Cohen Solal and Christoph H. Mueller worked together in the Boys from Brazil and Stereo Action Unlimited as early as 1996. Releasing their music on Solal's Ya Basta label, the two apace caught the ears of Jazzanova, Gilles Peterson, Mr. Scruff, and other electronica tastemakers, piece Coca-Cola picked a Boys from Brazil running for a European idiot box commercial-grade. Despite all the success, the twosome treasured a project that had a more than changeless mood. Feeling that both tango and nickname had a subdued and melancholic sound, they distinct to combine the genres. With the plus of Eduardo Makaroff in 1999, they formed the Gotan Project and released the low of four 10"s on Ya Basta in February 2000. The band had drummed up quite a buzz in the U.K. and European press, and shortly XL recordings snagged the mathematical group. XL issued their uncut debut, La Revancha del Tango, in 2001, and the self-proclaimed "cover Argentinean musicians exiled in Paris" toured to support the album with guest musicians and a video recording backdrop by multimedia system artist Prisca Lobjoy. Lunatico from 2006 was named after tango fable Carlos Gardel's paladin race horse.

Miley Cyrus - Cyrus Drops The Controversy For Innocent Milk Ad

Embattled teen pop sensation MILEY CYRUS has turned her back on controversy to appear in an innocent new Got Milk ad.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star hit the headlines at the beginning of May (08) after photos she posed provocatively for during a Vanity Fair magazine shoot were leaked online.

Topless and wrapped in a satin sheet, Cyrus became a target of family groups who felt she was too young to make such a sexy statement.

But her latest photo, for America's Body By Milk ad campaign, is anything but controversial.

The wholesome star sports a milk moustache while posing in her dressing room, wearing jeans, cowboy boots and a white vest.

Cyrus admits she jumped at the chance to become one of the Got Milk celebrities, stating, "I've got to keep fit so I drink milk."

Hi-Tek played a major role in the extremely admired golden age evangelist sound connected with the Rawkus Records collective, crafting many of the label's initial find releases. While Hi-Tek's production style owes a debt to New York's finest beat-makers from the early '90s -- DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor -- the producer actually arose from Cincinnati's subdued hip-hop scene instead than the streets of Brooklyn. Local mentors such as Ravi T, J-Fresh, and Sen Sai showed the wishful youth how to craft beatniks, and by 1992 he had crossed paths with Mood, one of the Midwest city's prime minister hip-hop groups. Hi-Tek collaborated on the call "Hustle on the Side" and helped the grouping scotch a track record deal. Years later on, the producer befriended Talib Kweli, wHO was in town on the job with Mood. This affiliation eventually spawned the Reflection Eternal duo, one of the first acts to commit the Rawkus label on the map. But it was Hi-Tek's work with Kweli and Mos Def on the milestone record album Shameful Star (1998) that first made the producer a hot commodity. He next collaborated only with Kweli for Reflexion Eternal (2000), an album that crossed over from the b-boy bivouac to the mass market and became a critically championed coast-to-coast success. Then came Hi-Tek's solo spotlight on Rawkus, Hi-Teknology (2001), which featured a broad ambit of up-and-coming MCs, including some of his Cincinnati peers. Between releases he produced tracks for a unsubtle regalia of rappers, including such notables as Snoop Dogg, Blackalicious, and Raphael Saadiq, all the piece shopping around for labels to issue his indorsement solo record album, at long last subsidence on Babygrande. Hi-Teknology 2 (2006), which included verses from Nas, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, and of course of action Kweli, was followed by a practically less star-studded Hi-Teknology 3 late the next year.

Mary Tyler Moore - Moore Struggling With Diabetes

Diabetes has robbed beloved TV star MARY TYLER MOORE of her love of horseriding.

The actress was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in her thirties and admits the disease is "pernicious" and just keeps "eating away" at her 40 years later.

Moore, the longtime international chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, says, "I've lost a good deal of my vision, I've lost a sense of my balance. That's why I can't ride horses anymore... I don't drive because of the vision... I'm not allowed to.

"There are a lot of things - arthritis hits at an earlier age; anything that can go wrong goes wrong in a bigger, earlier way."

The actress and star of beloved 1970s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show will chronicle her battle with diabetes in her upcoming memoir, Growing Up Again.
